Shooting videos is always an adventure. Especially when you're shooting in a gas station Beer freezer. “Gas station Beer freezer you say”? Yes that sounds kinda crazy but that’s exactly what we were going for in my new video “Cold”. I always say what is meant to be your disadvantage, you have to find a way to turn it into your advantage. At this level one of the advantages is the ability to shoot guerrilla style, pull up with a camera man and scantily clad model and just let it rip. As I sat on a small mountain of beers and rap my verse directly in the camera as onlookers began to pile around the freezer section of the store when it all hit me. The adulation from those five people that became new lifelong fans is what it’s all about to me. They were not only getting late night blunts and munchies. They were now a part of an experience. The sweet nectar of victory tastes so good because of what you had to do to get it. Winning is therefore not about the victory but the experience itself. Hope you enjoy my new video “Cold” out now.
